Why Buy a Forestry or Horticultural block in New Zealand ?

A Forestry block is a low maintenance low input method of earning an income from a piece of ground which may not be suitable for highly productive dairy farming, yet still has the potential of very good returns from a renewable timber resource.
The New Zealand Government encourages the growth of forestry in order to gain carbon credits under the carbon trading scheme.
